Derwaza
A luxury bukhoor and oud store for a Kuwaiti heritage house: Arabic-first, fully bilingual, with catalogue, cart, KNET checkout and a back office for inventory, point of sale and reports.
/ In Detail
Derwaza is a Kuwaiti bukhoor and oud house; the name means the gateway. We built its store and back office starting with a brand bible before any layout: the essence, the palette as variables, Arabic and Latin type stacks, a mashrabiya light-and-shadow motif, and the canonical Kuwaiti phrases.
The storefront is Arabic-first, right-to-left and bilingual to the last string: a cinematic entrance gate, a categorised catalogue, product pages, cart and guest checkout with KNET through MyFatoorah, plus FAQ, returns and about pages.
Behind it, a bilingual admin console for inventory, point of sale and reports, with conversion tracking and search optimisation. The project ships with end-to-end tests and a standalone demo mode that runs from a seeded catalogue without a database.
